The three choirs that comprise VOICES now number over a hundred people! Currently preparing for their Summer Extravaganza Concert at The Royal Hippodrome Theatre, Eastbourne, VOICES members are still welcoming “newbies” …..the daytime choir is still in need of sopranos, altos and tenors.

Next Thursday will see a small group from VOICES entertaining Pevensey Dreamers at Ethel Wood hall. Choir director Diana Terry tells us that the choir has gone from strength to strength, and is raising thousands of pounds for charities chosen by choir members.

The Eastbourne branch of VOICES is now happily settled in their new home at Christ The King Church hall in Princes Road, where they meet each Weds 7-9.

Diana is now entitled to use the letters FRSA after her name, having become a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Having spent her career on Stage,TV, radio and in films (including a James Bond) and working for major charities such as The Children’s Society, Diana told Bay Life “running the choirs is one of the most rewarding and pleasurable things that I have done. It makes a difference to the people who sing with us, to the community, and to those great causes who receive our contributions”.

Information about VOICES can be found on their website www.voiceschoir.co.uk or Diana will be happy to answer queries on 01323 766994 or email voiceschoir@hotmail.com
