Police warning after glass found on slide at Pevensey Bay play area

Sussex Police are warning residents, parents and carers to be vigilant after broken glass was found on a slide in a play area in Pevensey Bay.

Officers received a report on Monday 30 March that glass from a broken bottle had been found wedged between the plastic and wooden part of a slide in the play area at Waverley Gardens.

PCSO Simon French said: “We are extremely concerned that a child could have been seriously injured as a result of these actions and would urge anyone to report any suspicious behaviour in the area, or any further incidents.”
