Police appeal for information following Pevensey burglaries

Police are appealing for information about three burglaries, which share similar characteristics, that happened in Pevensey in April.

The break-ins took place at homes in Val Princeps Road, Wallsend Road and Millward Road. In each case, patio doors at the rear of the properties were smashed to gain entry and jewellery was stolen.

PCSO Simon French said: “I would ask residents to keep a look out for strangers in alleyways running along the back of gardens, or in gardens themselves. It is also a good idea to lock away items that could be used gain access by other means such as ladders.

“Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in these areas during the last few weeks can email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101. Alternatively, call 999 if a crime is in progress or the suspect/offender is still there or in the area.”
