Stone Cross Community Market

December 12 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)
Every week until December 19, 2014

Held every week from Friday 17 January 2014 to Friday 19 December 2014

The aim of the Market and Coffee Morning is to provide a service to the Community and also a social meeting place. The stalls each week cover a variety of items including plants, bird tables/nests, hand-made cards, knitted items, sweets/fudge, hand-made chocolate, cakes, pasties etc, preserves and hand-crafted jewellery. Do come along and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with a teacake or crumpet in a warm environment and browse the goods for sale in the lovely friendly atmosphere. Please do support the market and all the stallholders. Stalls are available at the Market on request either by e.mail or telephone, subject to availability. An Application Form will need to be completed. It is the policy of the management to allow up to only two stalls of a similar nature on any Friday. This ensures that the market always has a good variety of different stalls and that all stallholders have an equal chance of obtaining sales. Hot drinks, fruit squash and fizzy drinks are available as well as toasted teacakes or crumpets which are served with butter and a choice of jams and spreads. Biscuits, chocolate bars, crisps and dried fruit are also sold. A mug of tea, coffee or hot chocolate costs just 75p (filter coffee is £1.20). A tea/coffee/hot chocolate plus teacake or crumpets are at a special price of £1.20 (a cup of Filter coffee plus teacake or crumpets are £1.25.
