→ Pevensey Timeline ‘Gateway’ Talks
During the autumn of 2014 we will be hosting a series of interesting talks by Dr Geoffrey Mead of  University of Sussex, who is the Lead Tutor of Pevensey Timeline Project, writes Owen Visick, churchwarden at St. Nicholas Church, Pevensey.  They will cover a number of aspects of the history and geography of Pevensey and its surroundings, from prehistoric times onward. Illustrated by drawings, maps and photographs and delivered with Dr Mead’s own brand of expertise and humour, these talks will appeal to a wide audience.  You can find information about the Timeline Project, and the background to this series of talks, at www.pevenseytimeline.co.uk
