Watch out for new TV adverts coming to your screen soon

There’s great excitement at VisitEngland. The organisation charged with promoting England in the UK has gained an additional £4m to run a UK TV advertising campaign.

Going on air from March 8th and running until end May / beginning of June, the adverts are intended to encourage more people to take holidays and short breaks in the UK during 2012. The TV adverts will feature the themes of coast, countryside and city. Holidaymakers will be directed to a special website featuring offers from tourism and hospitality businesses that want to take part.

Please note this website is not yet live. There will be a link to each business’s website for further information about the offer and to make a booking.

The website offers an extra way to promote offers during a key consumer planning and booking period. VisitEngland and VisitBritain will promote some of the best offers through their own websites, e-newsletters, Facebook activity. VisitSussex will also be promoting these offers on our website and to our social media communities.
