Barclays Digital Eagles will be swooping into The Lamb Inn, Wartling, on Tuesday 27 February to run a free computer skills session from 10:30am to 12:30pm.—Wealden District Council

friendly tea-and-teach session

The friendly tea-and-teach session, DigiSafe in Cyber Space, will cover how to stay safe online, secure internet banking and how to keep in touch with friends and family using video chat, all over a cup of tea or coffee.

“Following the tremendous success of previous sessions, I am delighted that Barclays Digital Eagles are coming to The Lamb Inn to help local residents with their online safety,” said Councillor Roy Galley, Cabinet Member for Economic Development. “Being online and using the internet are boons to everyday life and, if you take some sensible precautions, there is very little risk. So if you have any concerns make sure you come along and get some friendly advice and guidance over a hot drink.”

The session is free but if you are interested in attending please let The Lamb Inn know by calling them on 01323 832116, emailing lambinnwartling@gmail.com or via twitter @lambinnwartling.

Please bring your own device along to the session i.e. laptop, tablet, iPad, iPhone, Android phone.
