Such a precious man
Chris died at 1am today. He suffered an aneurysm in his brain a week ago and never regained consciousness. Such a precious man. We are going to miss him so much.
—Sue Clark, 27 October 2019

Westham resident, Jo Belcher said (27 October), “So incredibly sad Westham was so lucky to have had this wonderful man at its heart for as long as we did . Chris and Sue truly transformed lives whilst they were here and would support and help people whoever they were . He was an absolutely wonderful kind man who was there for everyone .

“Chris was just so kind to me and my family through sad times and always had time to talk . As a family we send our love to his family and all our thoughts . I would like to personally thank Sue for all the hard work they did for people here and to say he will always be remembered with deep fondness and love for all he did . He was a truly wonderful man who will never be forgotten” .
