Celebrate English Tourism Week, 10–18 March, with Wealden District Council and Enjoy Sussex.

Wealden tourism businesses are offering visitors discounted admission to popular attractions and deals on local accommodation.

To take advantage of these offers all you have to do is visit our website, print out the vouchers from the promotional leaflet and take them to the venue advertised.

Dates vary, but offers take place around English Tourism Week which includes Mother’s Day Weekend, 17-18 March.

Participating attractions include:

Ashdown Forest Llama Park, The Observatory Science Centre, Herstmonceux; the Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club, Yesterday’s World, Perryhill Orchards and Wilderness Wood. Accommodation providers include the Brambletye Hotel, Forest Row; The Star Inn, Alfriston; The Treacle Mine Premier Inn, Polegate; Danny Cottage, Alfriston; Wimbles Farm, Heathfield; Fair Oak Farm, Mayfield and Hollambys, Groombridge.

“2012 is going to be a great year for visiting our countryside,” said Councillor Roy Galley, Cabinet member with responsibility for tourism. “These special offers suit a wide range of tastes and pockets. It is a welcome opportunity for people living locally to take family and friends out to enjoy some of the fantastic attractions on their doorstep.”
