The account of ‘the vile man’ on the school run in Westham, We only have one side of this story from the mother, Amelia Jayne Bloxam, who offered this account to Bay Life this morning (12 May). We have encouraged Amelia to report this incident to the Police, we would also encourage the man concerned to come forward to give his own account of the incident, to enable us to find out more about what happened on this school run. In our view there are important questions here for mothers (we note what Amelia said about her husband) on the local school run and the limited parking area, not just about what has happened with this shocking incident—Bay Life, 12 May 2017

Watch out mums on the PAWS school run
Today whilst on the pm school run I was approached by a vile man who verbally abused me and hit my car not only with his fists but also with a log he was carrying.

Yes I was park two wheeled on the pavement but the man had full access still he decided to pick on me.

Many cars park there to stop obstruction from the road as it has extremely limited parking area for such a busy school.

Never in my 4 yrs in parking in the same area had I have such abuse.

I always take care making sure the pavement is still accessible for pushchair users and never block an entrance to a driveway, yet instead of politely asking me to move ( Which I would have) he bashed the car, called me all sorts continue to start body shaming me and this the attitude of a grown man??

SHAME ON YOU!!! The come down from the sudden rush of adrenaline sent me into such a state it was hard to compose myself in front on my two young girls. Never ever have I been spoken too like that and from a so called adult?? He was simply disgraceful and despicable!!!

I am more than sure he wouldn’t of done that with my husband in the car!!!

Unfortunately I doubt this will reach the horried individual but you are a sorry excuse for a man.

Statement to Bay Life, 12 May 2017

STORY UPDATE: 6:20pm: Amelia Jayne Bloxam has contacted Bay Life suggesting, “I would like to say, I understand the frustration the residents have regards to parking, but I feel 95% of us parents are very respectful to the residents with regards to the extreme lack of parking availability.

“If the man in question had simply approached me in a sensible manner then without doubt or hesitation i would of moved.

“I have not reported it yet , I have been told to but I do wish to resolve this. All I ask is a simple apology”.
