New daytime courses will be running across Wealden in July and August and include:

Street Learning courses are free of charge to everyone in Wealden and Eastbourne over 19 years. All you have to do is book a place by ringing 01323 436436.

“Street learning is open to everyone,” said Councillor Roy Galley, Cabinet member for Economic Development and Regeneration. “There are no hang-ups about qualifications or entry requirements. Providing you are over 19 years, you can come along and gain skills that  you will find useful. They may also help you if you are looking for a job or undertaking further training.”

The Beginner’s Guide to Computers takes place at Prospects House (NCDA) in George Street, Hailsham; from 1.30 – 4pm on Thursdays 14, 21 and 28 August. It is a friendly way to find out the basics about computers in a relaxed environment.
