Pevensey Timeline makers prepare for the next stage in the telling of the 2,000 story of Pevensey and its rich history.
250 photographs are to go on display with shop fronts, postcards and family memories of holidays in the Bay. The new strand on the project that has caught the local imagination, will begin to appear this week, as Peter Roper, the newly appointed web administrator for the project, begins to plan the implementation of a series of new elements that can be researched and edited by local people.
With thanks to Joyce Pannell (nee Davis) for the first of a number of personal collections that have been donated for use on the timeline.
The team welcome any commentaries about dates and the history of locations and people that will add colour and context to the story of the locality and the way that story is being told online by the villagers themselves.
