A new design and web agency has lit interest in Pevensey. The company titled nexuscreate, once based in Brighton, has now arrived in Pevensey. Included in their client base are a number of organisations with a national profile. The launch of the business has excited local interest.—Bay Life, 20 March 2018
Bay Life talks to nexuscreate director, Milly Stone
Talking to Bay Life (10 March) director of the company, Milly Stone, told us “If anyone is looking for a new website, logo design, flyer design, brochure design or even a redesign, as well as marketing services and support to small businesses, I run a design agency called Nexus Create based in Pevensey.
“We have a Facebook page @nexuscreate and our details are on our webpage www.nexuscreate.co.uk, 20% discount to any Pevensey residents even if your business is based elsewhere!
In a recent post they comment “@nexuscreate have recently designed and built a temporary website to replace the existing homepage for the @greenparty_uk in order to support a fortnight long membership drive.
“The focus of the design was geared primarily to support the drive and increase membership sign ups for the party.
“The project had a 3 week critical turnaround from design to launch. This included: Fully responsive site, Video editing. Integrated quick payment process , Radial value slider for engagement , Party member testimonials www.greenparty.org.uk.
Simon Montgomery, editor of Bay Life commented, “at long last we now have a big digital media player here in our midst.
“Perhaps no surprise to hear that we have already been in contact with Milly and nexuscreate around Christmas in relation to our plan to develop The Pevensey Gazette.
“Specifically the new newspaper is geared towards the visitor profile for Pevensey, together with digital subscriptions to be sent round the world to key organisations in the English Language learning education networks.
“When the coaches arrive in the cattle market car park our plan is that they will be browsing the Pevensey Gazette on board, fully briefed with what is on offer as they decant from the coach”.
“The theme of the newspaper is based on the unique place of Pevensey in what historian Michael Wood calls ‘the Great British Story’ . Standing here in Pevensey at the start of his seminal series he opened the series with the words, ‘this is where it all began’.
“The profile of Pevensey will increase year on year as we progress towards the arrival of The Bayeux Tapestry in 2022. You could not ask for a better billboard for Pevensey than one of the panels that says Ad Pevensae. How is that for the best bit of product placement from the 950 year old history of the Great British Story.
“We want to see the services and businesses in Pevensey promoted to a wider audience.”
“Would appear to us to be one of those cometh the hour, cometh the woman type of contexts, and perhaps will also be no surprise to hear that we have already made contact to establish if both Milly Stone and nexuscreate would like to adopt a role as part the new newspaper launch.
“That fact that after a number of years based in Brighton, the company is now based in Pevensey, really is very interesting indeed. With a roster of clients that includes the National Green Party, looks very much like this is going to be an interesting digital year in Pevensey.
“If they are currently offering a 20% discount to any Pevensey resident, wherever their business, now might be the best time for that local web platform revamp”.
