Coming soon, the launch the Castle Cottage Tea Room, adjoining Pevensey Castle—Bay Life, 1 August 2016

Launch event, Castle Cottage Tea Room

News about the launch event with the Castle Cottage Tea Room after a seven year absence in the locality, will be announced by Bay Life shortly.

The new owner told us today (1 August),  “as soon as the builders have vacated I can give consideration to a definite date”. The launch event will see the restoration of the much loved service to people from across this part of East Sussex.

“As tea pours effortlessly from the reassuring roundness of a proper pot, sumptious scones and lusciously light cakes are served on bone china in an unhurried haven of bygone charm”.

Out of the mists of time, will come an opportunity for people “to share in the delight of simply taking tea…. as it used to be”.
