The Eastbourne Schools Partnership Busking Day (Saturday 4th October) raises over £1,000 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
Young people across Eastbourne braved the elements on Saturday 4th October to hold a charity Busking Day, raising funds for St Wilfrid’s Hospice. Despite the deteriorating weather, the event received fantastic support, raising over £1,000 for the local charity.
Eastbourne Schools Partnership, which sees students from local schools and Sussex Downs College working together in the community, organised the day’s music events. Students stationed themselves at various locations around the town, including the iconic Wish Tower. The event culminated in an evening concert held at The Birley Centre.
