Sussex Police has joined forces with Wealden District Council to host monthly drop-in sessions with the Wealden Neighbourhood Prevention Team.
Informal drop-in sessions will be at the Council’s Vicarage Lane office in Hailsham which run between 10:00am – 11:00am on the following dates:

Monday 3 June
Monday 1 July
Thursday 1 August
Tuesday 3 September
Thursday 3 October
It’s your chance to raise your concerns with the Police, and report crime and anti-social behaviour directly to them.
Inspector Jon Gross from Sussex Police said: “These drop in sessions provide a great opportunity for the public to meet their local prevention officers and District Council representatives. They are very informal sessions offering a chance for residents to discuss issues affecting their communities, and for the Police and District Council colleagues to share details of current initiatives. No appointment required!”
John Stalley, Senior Investigations Officer at Wealden said: “The Council’s Audit and Investigations Team work closely with Sussex Police to help crack down on fraud and anti-social behaviour in the District. Cold calling scams and internet fraud can be particular areas of worry for our residents. Working together, we’ve seen a reduction in crime and anti-social behaviour in the last year. We hope that by offering the public an opportunity to share information and concerns with both the Police and the Council can help to keep it that way.”
