Launch boot sale of season: Sadly, the popular Sunday Boot sale has been cancelled this Bank Holiday Sunday (May 6). Organsiers have posted information about the boggy state of the field—Bay Life, Sunday 6 May 2018

Launch boot sale of season cancelled

2 May: Pevensey Bay Boot sale
UPDATE: CANCELLED BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND.. SEE OTHER POST
We are doing everything we can to open for this Bank Holiday weekend as advertised. However the months worth of rain that has fallen this week has not helped with the drying out of the field. Today the field is very wet and boggy again. If the field doesn’t dry up enough in time for Sunday we will have no choice but to cancel. If we open when the field is too wet we risk cars and vans getting stuck which will all require towing out … not something anyone wants on a Bank Holiday!
For now we are ON…..keep an eye out for updates here. Thank you

25 April: Pevensey Bay Boot sale
REGRETFULLY WE HAVE HAD TO CANCEL THIS WEEKENDS BOOT SALES. THE FIELD IS ON MARSH LAND AND THE HEAVY RAIN AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK HAS FLOODED THE FIELD. EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE HAD SUNSHINE FOR PAST FEW DAYS AND THE SUN IS SET TO CONTINUE, WE HAVE TO RISK ASSESS FROM A SAFETY POINT OF VIEW AND DESPITE OUR BEST EFFORTS THE FIELD IS JUST NOT READY. WE APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED. WE ARE AIMING TO OPEN NEXT WEEKEND. UPDATES WILL BE POSTED HERE AND ON OUR WEBSITE. 7
