Following the first Sri Lankan Curry Night which proved to be a near sell-out success, the Bayside Diner has now planned a second night.
People that attended the first night, on Friday 27 November 2015, said how much they had enjoyed the evening. There was praise for the service and food, which included a starter, main course and dessert, with an ‘eat as much as you like’ approach.
The novel approach of the ‘homemade style’ Sri Lankan curries’ has proved to be a success, with people sampling for the first time starter dishes and main dishes that they had not had an opportunity to taste before.
The first event that saw over 25 booked for the night is to be repeated towards the end of this month, with the same approach to the evening, which saw the same kind of conviviality and spirit to Bayside that characterises the service offered during the day.
The opportunity to taste the Sri Lankan samples of what is on offer has been shown to be a winner with Bay folk and it seems that the evening may well now join the other regular food festivities that make weekends in the Bay an attractive destination point with a wide variety of successful eateries.
Owner Sureshnixon Nickholas points out that the price for the event, £15:00, is the same as with the first evening, but that bookings are essential and that the deposit required to secure a booking is non-refundable.
As previously with the first event, people booking the Sri Lankan Curry Night are welcome to bring their own wine.
