Pevensey Bay Model Railway Club: Annual Exhibition attracts interest across locality

Talking to Bay Life (14 July) Sandra Hyde told us, “The guys at Pevensey Bay Model Railway Club have been working hard all year to put on the annual exhibition on Saturday 21st July. Please would you be kind enough to give them some publicity on your site”.

There are sixteen working layouts, 7 trade stands and rrefreshments. Also the facilities at the Memorial hall in Pevensey are amongst the best in the locality. Wheelchair access to all areas except the stage. free parking, pay and display 400 yards away, 99 bus stop close by, Pevensey and Westham Railway station, 15 minute walk.

On their website the club says “we boast a friendly membership dealing in railways of all shapes and sizes. Every week there will be some model railway construction taking place but also a fair amount of talking about other rail matters plus putting the world to rights!

“The club was formed in 2010 and meets every Monday evening from 7pm to 9.30 pm at the Ethel Wood Community Hall, Coast Road, Pevensey Bay

“Several layouts are under construction which include UK 00 gauge and UK N gauge using analogue or digital control. The progress of some of these layouts can be found in our club layout pages. You can also see how some of our members are progressing with their own layouts in the member’s layouts pages.

“If you are interested in joining our club, or simply want some advice, then come along to Ethel Wood Community Hall on a Monday evening. You can always contact us for more information”.

“Our 2018 Annual Exhibition is on SATURDAY 21st JULY between 10am and 4.30pm at the Pevensey Memorial Hall, Church Lane, Pevensey BN24 5LA.
