This is Alfie the black Labrador that never grew up!

Sadly he passed away last weekend at the age of 12, he was owned by Andrew and Linda Skinner and was very much loved not only by them but by everyone that knew him.

For nearly 6 years he was the pub dog living in the Castle Inn.

He was a great character possibly the oldest puppy ever !

Being a typical Labrador having an endless appetite and full of fun, he once ate 30 Yorkshire puddings that Linda had carefully made ready for the Sunday roast, some one had accidentally left the kitchen door open and to see his expression……. it wasn’t me!!

He would watch the toast on the plate willing it to fall on the floor he didn’t miss a trick !

Walking across the pub car park you would always see his head poking out of the upper window.

He will be always in our hearts.
