Catch-up collections are taking place across the District today
Kier, and the Council apologise for the inconvenience residents may have suffered because of missed waste collections.
Kier are now operating crews until 8pm on weekdays, so please wait until the following day to report missed collections.
If you still have an outstanding refuse or recycling collection from the last two weeks, please contact the Council. We will be seeking to find out why collections have not taken place and are treating these as matter of urgency. We have expanded the number of staff at our Customer Contact Centre to deal with your emails and phone calls. Please be patient.
Please note: The new refuse trucks are designed with a compartment especially for glass which is why we ask people to keep glass separate in boxes at the roadside. However, if the compartment is full up then glass can still be put in with the other recycling materials in the back of the recycling truck, and it can still be separated at the waste disposal facility, so your efforts have not been wasted.
