Red Lion in Stone Cross hosting beer festival
5—7 May 2017

The beer and cider festival will be held Friday 5th – Sunday 7th May at the Red Lion, Stone Cross—Harvey’s Brewery, 8 April 2017

The festival will include a range of guest beers and ciders, as well as Harvey’s beers on tap.

Talking on behalf of Harvey’s Brewery, Emily Hopkins told Bay Life (8 April), “you very kindly included an article on the Red Lion, Stone Cross beer festival on your online platform and in your hyperlocal newspaper.

“I am currently working with the manager to host another beer and cider festival”.

“We will be serving up a delicious menu, alongside a hog roast and bbq throughout the course of the weekend. If this wasn’t already enough then we also have a packed line-up of local singers and bands to keep people happy all weekend! Just some of those performing are ‘The Beagles’, ‘Inner Soul’ and ‘Hot Damn’!

“In addition to the beer festival, we are also hosting other regular events.

“Every Wednesday we have a pub quiz from 8:30pm. Teams of up to 6, £1 per person entry and a cash pot to be won

“Every Thursday is ‘Steak Thursday’ (or ‘Thursteak’ as the manager likes to call it!). We have a variety of cuts to choose from and all steaks are 20% off on a Thursday (lunch 12noon-2:30pm and dinner 5pm-9pm)

“Every Friday evening we have a live singer performing in the restaurant from 8pm. Every week is a different performer, covering everything from country & western to disco!

“One Saturday every month we have a live band creating a good fun night of dancing and socialising”.
