Due to demand the legendary Jasper Carrott has added an extra Eastbourne date to his Stand Up and Rock tour! Now playing at the Congress Theatre Friday 10 May AND Saturday 11 May, the tour sees Jasper back live on stage with a new stand up set and accompanied by his usual popular musical compatriots lead by Bev Bevan.

Bev Bevan, the legendary drummer and founding member of The Move and ELO who, as well as being Jasper’s mate, has rock star credentials that most dream of…Bev’s band are one of the finest around and features Geoff Turton from the Rockin Berries, Phil Tree (Ex Wizzard) and renowned session musicians Abby Brant and singer Suzi Woo.

Described as a kind of variety show for the baby boomer generation the show is split evenly between hilarious stand-up and rockin’ music. Jasper tackles subjects close to everyone’s hearts, everything from ageing, the birth of technology to airports and food prices! Enjoy updated classic skits and a string of short comedy songs to get the audience howling with laughter too.
