Candidates for the Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner elections. The following have been nominated to stand for election to the post of Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner on Thursday 5 May—Charles Lant, Sussex Police Area Returning Officer, Wealden District Council

  • Michael Jones (Labour Party)
  • Patrick Lowe (UKIP)
  • James Walsh (Liberal Democrats)

The Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner is responsible for policing across East and West Sussex and Brighton & Hove and overseeing how crime is tackled in this area. The election takes place on Thursday 5 May. Electors who are registered to take part in local elections in the Sussex Police can vote on 5 May. If you are not sure if you are registered to vote, you can register up until Monday 18 April to take part in the Police and Crime Commissioner elections. Visit www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
