FEATURE : LOST AND FOUND: The story of Peter Sellers and the Goons in Pevensey Bay

running

Phil Taylor, who with his wife Mel, is the proprietor of the successful Ocean View Bakery and Restaurant in Pevensey Bay, is to have his own column in the pages of Bay Life, your favourite community platform

From Monday (October 14) a new column will feature his momentous marathon efforts on behalf of the Dystonia Society over many years.

As well as information about planning for marathons, the column will include details about money Phil has raised and how to sponsor his next event.

Simon Montgomery, editor of Bay Life said this morning, (October 9) ;

“It is lovely to welcome Phil to the pages of Bay life. Ocean Bakery and Restaurant is very much at the heart of community activity in the Bay and home to organisations like St. Nicholas Church and the Pevensey Timeline Association in the planning of their activities”.

“The bloke is a local legend. I once saw him motoring along the Eastbourne Road on the pavement in training, passing traffic. He is like a well oiled machine…don’t tell him that, his wife said.. it will go to his head.”

Read about Phil and his fund raising marathons here in the pages of Bay Life from next week.

Last word left to the ever witty Phil….. ‘Leg end maybe’, he comments.
