Had a trying day at work today chap came in at 7.30am stating he was mentally unwell and needed an ambulance I sat him down and duly obliged.
I made him comfortable and gave him some water while I waited for the ambulance to arrive.
After around 10 minutes the poor lad had a seizure and collapsed off the bench to the floor bashing his head in the process I placed him in the recovery position where he seemed to be comfortable and regain a normal type appearance once again..it seemed an age for the ambulance to turn up 40 odd minutes (this is not a dig at the medical services by the way )
I was just left feeling vulnerable in the position I found myself as he could have fitted again at anytime. I’ve yet to find out how the young man is I will post again when I have more news.
