We have received a number of enquiries from residents about whether Pevensey Parish Council intends to offer a response to the proposals from Natural England. We will publish a response today from the council if we receive a statement.

Sarah Mosedale, clerk to council…..The Coastal Access is on the council’s agenda and will be discussed at the meeting on Tuesday 7th January. Until then I cannot comment.

Coastal Access in the South East: Eastbourne to Camber Natural England is working on proposals to improve public access to the coast between Eastbourne and Camber.

PEVENSEY PARISH COUNCIL: PROPOSAL FOR COASTAL ACCESS – EASTBOURNE TO CAMBER.
Natural England are contacting landowners and stakeholders to outline their indicative proposals, before they publish their final report to the Secretary of State in 2020. Please find attached the maps for Pevensey which outline these proposals. (Full maps can be found on the Parish Councils website)
