COMMUNITY The Haven Players, Stone Cross: Summer Panto! – The Pied Piper of Hamelin

JOBSBOARD Part time staff, Royal Oak and Castle Inn, Pevensey

Pevensey Bay welcomes HELEN SHARPE and the SOULSHINE BAND to the Castle Inn tonight (Saturday 2 June).

Based in Hastings and founded in 2014, Helen Sharpe and The Soulshine Band are described as ‘engaging, entertaining and so much fun’.

Their website says “you certainly can’t help but boogie to the beat with this band. Timeless classic 70’s and 80’s and 90’s dance floor fillers that are soulfully sung by the ever-charismatic Helen Sharpe.

“A super tight and funky disco band, that keeps you singing and dancing all night.”

Kevin Burchett, in commenting on Hastings bands with a Yotube post, said in December 2015, “had a wander round Hastings and Old Town checking out the bands in pubs Helen Sharpe and The Soulshine Band playing in the Royal Albion fantastic”
