Vicki’s nomination story
Vicki has raised money for different charities on many occasions, including a 100 mile walk across the south downs where she raised over £600 for cancer research, a charity fashion event which raised £500 for a local hospice in Portsmouth and £130 for the race for life, aswell as volunteering every week for an Oxfam shop in Portsmouth and giving monthly to cancer research and the wwf.
Not only has Vicki given to charities but she has also helped out in local primary schools around portsmouth, using her skills in fashion and textiles to teach young students, completely unpaid.
Her ambition and genourosity will mean that she keeps raising money for charities and helping others and this is why I feel she is a worthy nominee.
