Special thanks to the Ocean View Bakery and Restaurant for their hosting of the fund raising Quiz Night and meal on behalf of the Arts and Literature Festival Day here in Pevensey Bay (Saturday 21 July).
Owner Katie and partner James, worked tirelessly right through the evening, on their own, cooking, serving, quizzing, raffling, to make the evening a special one for everyone that attended. Remarkable, and they kept smiling right through the evening.
Over 40 people, answering questions geared towards arts and literature and a fun time had by everyone. Now we know the first novel reputed to have been written on a typewriter. (the answer, Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain).
Just fabulous. Thank you so much to Katie and James.
