Interesting to see a new girls football group in Pevensey and Westham. Groups for young people, something close to the heart of Westham based Pevensey parish councillor Jo Garrard, who has long lobbied for support to set up groups for young people in Westham—Bay Life, 24 April 2018
It’s not just about football—a sense of belonging
The group says “We are a new girls football team, where the girls are central to everything. We are experienced and fully FA qualified football coaches. Our aim is to provide top quality football at as low cost as possible, we are a non profit and 100% family club.
“It’s not just about football as we can help boost your child’s confidence with fun and friendly engaging football sessions with a sense of belonging, which will assist with their football development on and off the field – they’ll even make friends doing so.
“So if your not sure, you can always contact us to come along and meet our coach or our fantastic parents who will be more then happy to assist you and even tempt you on one of our social nights out.
The group started on Thursday 19th April from 6pm till 7:30pm
They add “If you know of any girls who have interest in football or would enjoy some fun and making new friends then please come along and join in.
“We are currently looking for girls who will be going into year groups 5, & 6 in September 2018 for season 2018/19
