Advent Window 12: St. Wilfrid’s church hall: The church hall is in the main street in the village. Has been going fifty years now, so great to hear that the hall has won a lottery grant for maintenance. What not everybody knows is that the hall is utilised by many associations right through the week. They deserve the grant to bring the facilities up to standard with improvements. This is news worth celebrating. Thanks also to the photographer for taking this special picture to celebrate the news about the grant. Image credit BAY/PA Steve Malone.
