Update to bus services
Philip Ayres, Managing Director of Cuckmere Buses has advised me that they will be running the 55A Service as they did last November, from Monday 30th January to Friday 3rd February inclusive. The Saturday services 36 and 37 will also be amended on 28th January and 4th February. This is because they have to follow the same diversion route on these services, meaning that there is insufficient time to serve Asda at the Crumbles as well, so the section of the route from Langney via the Crumbles to Pevensey Bay has to be deleted. This is what happened in November.

I am sure everyone is very grateful to Cuckmere for this additional service which will go some way to reduce the inconvenience.

Timetable for 36 and 37 Saturday Services
By tomorrow I will have posted the temporary timetable on the Parish website and on the Notice Board at Beachlands.

Hope that helps

Clerk to Council, Malcolm Lawson, 19 January 2017
