Owen Visick, Churchwarden, St. Nicolas Church, Pevensey, is to become a contributor to the pages of Bay Life.
Owen, busy beginning to plan for the 800 year celebrations of continuous worship in the village in 2016, will be presenting news and updates about the work of the church and its events, together with news about the local branch of the Royal British Legion.
Talking to Bay Life yesterday (Wednesday 4 September), Owen told us that he was ‘looking forward to working with you’.

Simon Montgomery, editor of Bay Life, commented;
‘Having people like Owen Visick involved in the presentation of news to people in Pevensey, confirms our place as a mainstay source of information in the locality. St. Nicolas Church is very much at the centre of the spiritual life of the community and it has a packed calendar of interesting events, so of course it is delight to welcome him to the pages of Bay Life as a contributor’.
‘We now have a range of contributors and organisations offering us information weekly. The pages of Bay Life are well browsed. Through these contributions we have been able to develop an online news magazine in the village that now features with its own role in local social and economic affairs. It is because of these contributions that we have become such a popular portal to visit’.
‘Particular credit should go to Ian Thomas at Pevensey Coastal Defence Limited. We are very grateful to him and his organisation for the sponsorship and support offered in the first two years of publication.’
