Olympic Torch Relay: Day 60: Tuesday 17 July
Pevensey
Arrival at 16.41 at Castle Drive on the A259 Eastbourne Road. The convoy will then travel against the normal traffic direction into the High Street and then on to Wallsend Road and over the railway line after which it will change back into Convoy Mode and make its way to Bexhill on Sea.

Travel
During the Torch Relay there will be some traffic disruption and delays. There will be some rolling road closures put in place very close to the time at which the Torch Convoy enters both Crowborough and Pevensey, to allow it to pass safely. There will be suspended street parking in place in both areas on the day. Please take note of the yellow signage that will be put up in advance of the event in both areas.
Parking
Demand for parking may be high. Please arrive in good time. We strongly advise walking, cycling or using public transport to make sure you don’t miss this momentous event.
