It’s that time of year again—Haven Players, 7 December 2017

We’re putting on ‘Cinderella..With a Twist!’ by our very own Geoff Baker

Talking to Bay Life (7 December), Andy Bennett, on behalf of Haven Players said “We’re having great fun at rehearsals especially learning the song and dance routines and dressing up like divas!

“Come along for much body shaming of the ugly sisters and booing of the bossy Baroness Hardunby.

“Join in with some stunning songs sung by your favorite characters and our dazzling Chorus. An evening of Magic and Mayhem, and a twist in the tale..”

Cast includes
The Uglies are Doug Daziel and Sean Langford, all large doners and Lambrini.
Buttons is McCauley Parker
Baroness Hardunby is Emma ‘I scare Satan’ Pierssene
The King is Mark ‘Guvnor’ Gurney
Dandolini by Jane ‘Gender non-binary’ Jenkinson
And presenting Dulcea Mayhew as our Cinderella.
Prince Charming is Adam ‘Chavistocrasy’ Willis-Jebbet

“Also busting some moves”, Andy adds, “will be Darcy Bushelter and Bruno Tortellini”.

Sounds like a lot of local fun for January 2018, from our very own popular amateur dramatic group.

Haven Players were awarded best new production in the South East area in 2013 for their production of Mary’s Boys.

Haven Players describe their panto production as ‘a fun filled family pantomime which has an unexpected ending, but as always is happy”
