The fabulous Sharnfold Farm at Stone Cross is to work with Bay Life and the Pevensey Bay Journal to promote their wares in the locality

The local Pick you Own Farm, with a farm shop, butchers and coffee shop with special seasonal offerings, has now extended their coffee shop to offer a new range of services to community groups.

Sharnfold Farm is best described as a day out experience for local families.

Local resident Margaret Cutting says on the Bay Life newsfeed, “to save food miles, plastic etc I have changed to Sharnfold for my meat, eggs and veg. It’s saving me money too”.

Over the last few months Sharnfold has added a brand new coffee shop extension to their offerings.

Talking to the Pevensey Bay Journal (21 February), Eleanor, speaking on behalf of the farm said “I am writing to you from Sharnfold Farm in Stone Cross. We are a local Pick you Own Farm, with a farm shop, butchers and recently renovated coffee shop. We are looking to promote the fact that with our extension we are now able to cater for larger groups. I would be extremely grateful if you knew of any local community groups that would be interested in booking a table in our new coffee shop.”

For any local community group, we now have a new niche location for informal meet ups and organised small event based gatherings, to celebrate the work that they do.

Sharnfold Farm is highly recommended for both the ambiance and quality of service.

The extension with the coffee shop is a new opportunity for the go ahead company to reach out to local communities to offer a new extended service.

They say, “whether you’re looking at ideas for family days out near Eastbourne, or just want some great quality local produce, we’re sure you’ll love Sharnfold Farm!

“You can find us at Stone Cross, between Eastbourne and Hailsham, in East Sussex. Come along and pick your own (PYO) fruit and vegetables, visit the Farm Shop and relax in our coffee shop that’s full of homemade deliciousness!”

“Plus there’s lots for young children (even if you’ve just got an hour or two), with a Farm Trail, play area and school holiday events (including a tractor and trailer ride).

Monday – Saturday 9:30am – 4pm
Sunday – 9:30am – 4pm.

“We look forward to seeing you”.

Sharnfold Farm started with Pick Your Own (PYO), with a selection of fruit and vegetables. They added other farm grown and local produce as requested by their customers. In 2001 they opened the farm shop and in 2009 they added the coffee shop and butchers. The Play Area and Farm Trail have been in operation for some time now, as well as their fishing lake.

In addition to their the Pick Your Own, food and gifts, they also sell local plants (flowers, vegetables and herbs) and farm-grown Christmas Trees in a wonderful array of sizes and shapes.
