Magnificent Motors is famously one of the biggest FREE motoring spectaculars on the South Coast and it returns on 3 – 4 May for the 11th time.

Eastbourne’s Western Lawns will welcome back over 600 vintage and classic cars, motorbikes, buses and more at the two day festival.

Organised by Eastbourne Borough Council, Eastbourne Historic Vehicle Club and East Sussex Omnibus Society, this year there is a great collection of motors, and much to celebrate including two days of seafront cavalcades with live entertainment, children’s fairground and a Grand Prix simulator.

Senior Head of Tourism and Leisure, Tracey McNulty said “We are very excited to kick off the events programme with Magnificent Motors. It is always enjoyed by visitors, both die hard car fans and those looking for a family day out. We look forward to the event and the near by Continental Market located on the seafront.”

Visitors will enjoy vintage cars as old as from 1897, WW1 cars, post war cars, modern classics, motorbikes, buses and bikes. As well as clubs such as Westfield sports car club, Bexhill 100 car club, East Sussex Morris Minor Club, East Sussex Stag owners club, Jaguar driver club and many more.

Around 400 motors are expected to join the seafront cavalcades over the two days, kick-starting the celebration each morning at 10am from Fishermans Green to the Western Lawns.

Visit the continental market along the prom running from Good Friday through to Bank Holiday Monday, and pick up handmade gifts and produce from fabulous cheeses to fresh baked bread, homemade conserves and delectable olives.

Join the QR Code Treasure Trail to win prizes! Find a Magnificent Motors Poster or leaflet to start the trail by scanning the QR code with your smart phone and find the clues! Prizes include VIP Airbourne experiences, family tickets to the Redoubt Fortress, Beer and Cider By The Sea ticket, Bandstand tickets and vouchers for the Western View café!

The exhibition takes place on 3 and 4 May on the Western Lawns from 11am to 5pm. For more information on the event and exhibiting go to www.magnificentmotors.co.uk
