LETTERS Mint House: Village has a vibrant art scene, but few opportunities to display work

Local Pevensey Bay based business Activity Days Mobility is celebrating success today (24 October), with their annoucement that they will be opening a business unit.

The go-ahead company, set up by local resident Mark Stewart, was established less that two years ago.

The business, in word and deed, champions the cause of local business with an articulate and informative take on the nature of large companies in the mobility field, explaining the kinds of tactic they employ to win business, and the lack of service that they offer.

Winning a local following with a demonstration of the quality of their service, consistently explaining in detail a particular job, or service provided, with a comparison of the big company approach, is a novel way to reach a local audience.

In a number of ways with their promotion and use of social media, they are a textbook example of how to work in the digital age . The net does not just reach people worldwide, what Activity Days Mobility Services shows is that their message is written right down the Wallsend Road.

The business supplies mobility equipment, Mark as a technician works with ‘all makes and models of equipment serviced and repaired. Mobility scooter and Wheelchair hire’.

Today on their social media newsfeed they say, “just agreed to take the unit on I was looking at. For those local to Pevensey area it’s in Westham next to the railway station. I’m hoping to move in there around the first week in November. Finally a proper workshop with space to store more parts to sell on. I never thought this time 2 years ago that I would be doing this! Thanks to all that use my business as it’s you that makes it work”.
