WEEKEND PREVIEW: LISTEN TO BOOGIE STREET HERE ON SOUNDCLOUD

The latest preview on Soundcloud is available this weekend from local singer/songwriter Peter Barron who lives in Pevensey Bay.

The Pevensey Bay Journal, which closely follows his work said, “we are all of us in the gutter of punk, but some of us are looking at the glitterballs—we have been following the musical career of local musician, Peter Barron, who lives in Coast Road, Pevensey Bay for a number of years. His new album may see him making a step change on his musical journey”.

About this latest track, the Journal said, “this track sees him getting back to his down and dirty roots, as well as his signature themes which come straight out the mid-seventies closet, there is also some neat and lean and lingering spats of harmonica from Neil Seymour.

Peter himself describes the track, Boogie Street, in this way, “another preview track currently available – this one’s already been described as ‘Glam Rock meets Dr. Feelgood’ (which I’m more than happy with!) Some harmonica and keyboard on this one – hope you like it”.

The new, as yet untitled album, is waited with anticipation by local people.

The Journal understands that there has been a degree of interest from the film industry in utilising a number of his tracks for a forthcoming production from an established British director.
