Huw Merriman, MP for the Bexhill and Battle constituency, is inviting constituents to a meeting on Saturday 2 November to update them on the latest developments on UK’s departure from the European Union.

Huw said “MPs have now voted in support of the EU Withdrawal Bill following the Prime Minister’s negotiations with the EU. However, many constituents are uncertain as to what this actually means and when we will leave the EU. I have therefore decided to hold a further public meeting at a local venue to explain the latest EU Withdrawal Bill, and update my constituents in person, as to the implications of what has been debated and voted on by Parliament.”

The meeting will be held at 11.00am on Saturday 2 November at St Augustine’s Church, St Augustine’s Close, off Cooden Drive, Bexhill-on-Sea, TN39 3AZ. Seating will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
