The independent four page full colour library broadsheet newspaper to support the campaign to save Pevensey Bay Library is now preparing to print.—Bay Life, 6 November 2017

Local Library broadsheet prepares to print

Bay Life is producing a four page newspaper to support the campaign to save Pevensey Bay Library.

Delivered to every household in Pevensey Bay, free of charge, the newspaper aims to promote the campaign to save the local library in an original way.

As well as news about the campaign, opinion, comment and letters, the newspaper will also look at the other campaigns in East Sussex, amongst the ‘Magnificent Seven’ libraries all billed to close.

Talking about what will be inside the newspaper, a spokesman for the production team said “we will be looking at the campaign in a way that we hope will be noticed.

“What we need is a local library fit for the 21st century, we hope that the special hyperlocal broadsheet newspaper will be fit for a 21st century campaign in print.”
