Dear Sir

I am a local resident living in Westham.

Wealden D.C. recently sent me an e-mail with respect to potential development sites within their authority of control, see link:

http://www.wealden.gov.uk/Wealden/Council/News_and_Events/News/News_052Lookingfortherightpiecesinthedevelopmentjigsaw371654.aspx?utm_source=MyAlerts&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=News&utm_campaign=20160617

By clicking on the Planning Policy pages it will take you to SHELAA site where all the current parcels of land on which planning is being sought are outlined:

http://www.wealden.gov.uk/Wealden/Residents/Planning_and_Building_Control/Planning_Policy/Strategic_Housing_Economic_Land_Assess/PPolicy_SHELAA.aspx?RD=True

Clearly my initial concern is with regards to the further development within my immediate area of Stones Cross/Westham and in particular the two plots highlighted in green of the attached, beyond the approved developments of some 650 properties on either side of Rattle Road

Is Bay Life aware of these potential development sites and does it have any information as to their current status? Is it known what importance the desire by the WDC not to lose the green gap and the effective coalescence of the two settlements, Stones Cross and Westham, against the pressures from developers and government enforcement has?

Regards
Andy Gates
