I’m sorry to say that our labradoodle Bubbles was involved in a second incident with a fisherman’s hook.

During her walk last night she became tangled up in a line, attached to it was two hooks. One became embedded in her mouth and the second in her back leg.

She was taken to the emergency vets to have the hooks removed. The vet informed us this was the second incident involving a fisherman’s hook that evening.

The weight pictured was attached to the line. The incident occurred at the top of the beach.

I would hate for anyone else.s pet or child to be injured by fishing tackle so advise that beacher users are vigilant and pick up and potentially harmful objects.

Many Thanks
Jodie Burman
