PEVENSEY FOOD FESTIVAL
I was interested in the article about events being planned around this event next year.

On a food theme I wondered if you would consider any poetry? With a food theme and also linked to its timing with VE day commemorations with rationing.

I am a writer and poet who has just moved to the area from Nottingham (where I was involved with the UNESCO City of Literature creative team) and am also a member of Eastbourne Poetry Cafe.

Often poetry evenings are held in bars/cafes etc and with a food theme it would be a great idea for new verses – or perhaps a local competition for food themed poems?

Anyway I will keep an eye out for forthcoming events from you

Best wishes
Philipa Jane Coughlan

Bay Life response: Thank you Philipa, we will see that the organisers of the Pevensey Food Festival get to see your message..
