UPDATE: 10:00am, 3 February 2019: Message from Katy Tsigarides at estate agents, MasonBryant in Pevensey Bay, the organisation that has done a fantastic job with sponsorship of the event over many years.

Yes a date has been set (Saturday 6th April) and entry forms are being sent out. There are also entry forms at my office – masonbryant in the village, as we remain the sponsors.
Katy Tsigarides, MasonBryant 3 February 2019

Dear Dianne Dear,

I am writing to you as editor of Pevensey Bay Life, to ask if you have any information regarding the possible holding of a Vehicles of Yesteryear show in 2019 at Pevensey Bay.

I am a member of both the Bexhill 100 and Hooe Old Car Clubs. A large number of our members always come along to the Pevensey Show as it is the first of the season and is always a favourite and welcome get together for everyone with a classic car.

Also both clubs include a list of all local classic car shows during the year, in their monthly/bimonthly members’ magazines. This of course is excellent free advertising for the show.

I have prepared a list of dates for shows so far declared in 2019 and have included an entry for Pevensey on an TBC basis.

If you have information about the date of holding, or even of not holding, a show, I would be grateful if you would let me know. Alternatively, if you have any contact numbers/names at the Parish Council (eg the Clerk) who could help me. The internet is very unhelpful on this point as the email contact button does not work. It would be good to include an entry for Pevensey.

Regards

Sue Colson

We will post your letter to our web platform to see what response there is from a number of organisations that have been involved in the event in previous years. The new clerk to Pevensey Parish Council is Sarah Mosedale. She is  responsive to community questions and activity involved with information about a number of local events. The parish council may have a more formal role this year, given the fact that they have a three year action plan commencing, The plan involves more engagement with the community, media releases and postings about a number of local events. .

The parish council Facebook page is here, where they post latest information.  The parish council contact form is here
