Hearth and Home: Aspects of Housing History
Speaker: Dr Geoffrey Mead
Lectures start at 2.30pm
Hearth and Home looks at the variety of building materials and styles across Sussex. We will hear how it is related to the underlying landscape with its range of rocks and building materials. The changes over time as well as space, will be noted as will the use of ‘exotic’ or imported materials.
