PEVENSEY PARISH COUNCIL WANT YOU TO HAVE YOUR SAY!
The Facts you need to know.
The street lights in Waverley Gardens Pevensey Bay are in need of urgent replacement following the removal of 7 unsafe street lights this year.

Whilst converting street lights from sodium to LED has received strong local public support. Pevensey Parish Council would like to know your views about replacing the street lights in Waverley Gardens.

The total cost to replace the street lights in Waverley Gardens is estimated at £26,600.00.

It has been proposed that the replacement of the street lights is paid for by a Publics Works Loan and the repayments will be approximately £2,500 a year.

To cover the loan repayments Pevensey Parish Council will need to increase the council’s precept.

An increase in precept of £2,500 would equate to 2.3% and £0.05p per week per band D household.

The Parish Council want to know your views and whether you support what has been proposed below.

Are you in favour of Pevensey Parish Council proceeding with the urgent street light replacement in Waverley Gardens?  This is to includes a council tax precept increase of 2.3% which is the equivalent of an additional £2.80 a year which equates to £0.05 per week per band D household for the purpose of the annual loan repayments?
