We are delighted to say that work is about to be completed

As you know, the medieval church of St. Nicolas, Pevensey has been undergoing a major restoration programme over the last decade, at a cost of some £500,000. We are delighted to say that work is about to be completed and we will be holding a special celebratory concert on Saturday 21 April which we very much hope you will be able to attend.

The evening will feature Harvey’s Brass, a ten piece symphonic brass ensemble, based in Sussex, who put on a memorable concert here in 2016. Their varied programme of classical and more modern works will include the world premier of “Jubilate” by local compser Paul Lewis, specially commissioned to mark the restoration of the church, with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The concert will start at 7pm, and refreshments will be served during the interval. Parking will be available in the Cattle Market car park adjacent to the church.
