BEACH BELLES : ** 26th March ** – I am very sad to announce the death of our friend Margaret Foskett known by us all as (Mags) who died last Monday 26th March. Our deepest sympathies go out to all her family and she will be sadly missed by us all.
Mags joined The Beach Belles on the first day that the club was started, what a lovely lady. Looking back through the photo’s Mags you were such good fun and joined in all that we did. You were with us all on our walk to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research also in the parade at Pev Fest, and then there was the Hospice Morning where you managed the cake stall, also with us on our trip to the Houses of Parliament.
What stands out in my mind when I think of you is the raffle, checking your raffle tickets always listening for that last number to win, you did make me laugh and also won a few prizes. The Balloon game that you organised stands out in my mind! Making us blow up balloons operating the pump by sitting up and down on it caused much laughter.
So many happy memories of you and your time at the club, thank you for being our friend we will never forget you. Mags you always stayed young and certainly knew how to have fun.
